The balance due can be paid by cheque no later than 10 days prior to the event or cash on arrival of the limousine. Balances paid by credit or debit card will be charged at 4% of the total hire charge. If the balance is to be paid in cash, it must be paid to the driver on arrival of the limousine and not at the end of the journey. Failure to do so will result in the balance being deducted from the nominated card. A £10 administration charge will also be added to the balance. Drivers will not accept cheques.
Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the booking time will be subject to the full payment and will be deducted from the cardholder. Cancellation 8-14 days prior to the booking time will be charged at 50% of the total booking.
Personal alcohol may not be consumed in the vehicle unless previously arranged and stated in the comments section of this contract. Any alcohol supplied by South Coast Limousines, is complimentary and can only be consumed by those in possession of valid proof of age identification. 'Complimentary bubbly' is that similar to Cava or sparkling wine and is not champagne. Our complimentary unlimited bubbly packages are subject to fair play and restricted to a maximum of 8 bottles. Magnums may be supplied and are classed as 2 bottles.
Feather bowers are banned from the insides our limousines due to the issue of time consuming valeting to remove feathers and particles from the carpets. However, they can be carried in the drivers compartment and returned to you on arrival at your venue.
We reserve the right to make appropriate charges in the event of any damage or breakage, or if the limousine is left in an unacceptable condition. All breakages and damage caused to the limousine(s) by the hirer and/or their party, whether accidental or otherwise shall be charged instantly to the cardholder. Glasses @ £5, Decanters @ £50, Videotapes @ £15, Cd's @ £15. Upholstery and passenger compartment damage @ full cost of repair, sickness within passenger compartment, regardless of how trivial, including deodorising @ £120, sickness affecting exterior @ £30. Under no circumstances is smoking or eating allowed inside the limousine(s).
We do not accept responsibility for any personal effects which are lost, broken, damaged or stolen, or any injuries sustained whilst using our services. In the event of a breakdown or accident, an alternative vehicle(s) will be supplied regardless of type or colour.
Limousines will be supplied regardless of colour. Should you have a colour preference, this must be stipulated on booking and your confirmation will reflect this request. At times, it may be necessary to subcontract other limousine companies to help with excessive demand for our reputable limousine service. We cannot be held liable for their operations.
It is a criminal offence to carry passengers that exceed each limousines licensed capacity, Under no circumstances can our drivers accept additional passengers, regardless of age. Passengers that exceed the agreed amount, but are still within the licensed capacity, will be charged at the appropriate rate.
Any additions or variations to the details laid out above will be chargeable at the appropriate rate and can only be accommodated subject to the availability of the vehicle(s).
We insist customers are at the agreed venue at the agreed time, otherwise a standard waiting charge of £15 for each 10 minutes of waiting, over and above the times reserved will be charged without notice to the cardholder. Outside of these times may also result in the limousine(s) being withdrawn from their current commitment, in which case no refunds will be given. All additional collections and/or drop offs will be charged for, there are no exceptions. The minimum charge is £10 for collections & drop offs if they are on route. All others are charged at a minimum of £20 each or as per the hourly rate. Unscheduled stops during the limousine journey, such as cigarette breaks and toilet breaks, may also be charged at £10 per break or as per the part hourly rate, unless this is within your allocated time. A Local cruise must remain within a 10 mile radius of the pick-up point otherwise an extra charge of £1 per mile will be charged and is at the drivers discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse to carry and/or eject persons who we feel are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in which case also no refunds will be given.
Some of our limousines have a longer wheel base than a Double Decker bus. We make this point to all who book our services. It is at the drivers' discretion whether or not he/she can realistically manoeuvre the vehicle in and out of the required pick up or drop of point safely, and without causing any damage to the vehicle. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and would ask that you respect the drivers' decision, as this is final.
Limousines that are picking up from airports will arrive 45 minutes after the pre-booked landing time. Should an aircraft be delayed, the standard chargeable rate of £60 for each delayed hour will be enforced and can only be accommodated subject to the availability of the vehicle(s). This charge will only occur after the 1st 90 minutes have lapsed from the pre-booked landing time. Should the limousine(s) be withdrawn from this commitment, no refund will be given. The luggage compartment (boot space) is that of a standard Lincoln Towncar, and therefore can only accommodate a maximum of 4 standard size suitcases, and 4 standard hand luggage bags, similar to that you would take on an aircraft. No suitcases will be allowed in the limousine seating compartment. Alternate transport for excess luggage will be charged at the appropriate rate and has to be booked at the time of the original booking.
A basic wedding hire package includes the transfer from the pick-up point to the Church or Registry office and then the transfer to the reception. There will be an allowance of 30 minutes for photographs from the end of the ceremony. Outside of this booked time, subject to the availability of the vehicle(s), will incur the standard £15 per 10 minute charge and will be charged to the credit card holder without notice.
We aim to provide an impeccable, punctual service and whilst making every possible effort to arrive at your destination within the time previously arranged, we cannot be held liable for late or missed appointments due to unforeseen traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns or industrial disputes.
Any amendments made to this contract by the hirer will be void unless previously agreed by South Coast Limousines, in which case a superseding contract will have to be signed and approved.
By agreeing to our terms, you authorise South Coast limousines to make charges to your credit/debit card for any of the above transactions, without further notice.
